St Martin’s C of E Schools are high achieving, happy, vibrant and forward-thinking schools in which children excel themselves, both academically and socially. The Infant and Junior Schools are both part of The Enlighten Learning Trust (ELT) and are lucky to benefit from unusually generous surroundings which include a large playing field. In addition, we have well laid out buildings which include a fully fitted kitchen for use by children, a dedicated music room and a dedicated inclusion centre accessible to children and families at all times. However, we feel it is our strong, inclusive Christian ethos that really sets us apart.

The atmosphere is calm, ordered and purposeful – never rigid or over directed - but disciplined, respectful and organised. We have high aspirations for all our pupils and believe that through stretching children, we build their confidence and self-esteem, as well as ensuring high academic attainment.

Free car parking is available on the school premises. Spaces are on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.  There are also bike racks available. 

We are an Infant School and Junior School operating under one SLT and governing body.

Vacancies may be listed on either the Infant School or Junior School sites, but the position will be contracted to work at either school.
